Humble beginnings ....

 

L F R  Industrial Services cc started in April 1998, with a view of being just a family business. operating as a general Maintenance company. Having had many years of Air Conditioning and Refrigeration experience, jobs relating to Air Conditioning, were also attended too. Within a short period of time, more and more work request regarding Air Conditioning came about. In September 1998, the trading as "Cool Tech cc" was created, which became our trading name. L F R  Industrial Services cc t/a Cool Tech cc was registered on the 14th of September 1998 with the relevant authorities and grew from strength to strength. Client service was then and still is today, written in "Capital" letters.

Started in September 1998, with a staff compliment of three (3) people and two (2) Van's, we are presently a Staff compliment of forty five (45) people and eighteen (18) Van's.  

Our Clientele grew from about 1 major Hospital Group, as being our client, to presently  more than 6 major groups, as well as Property Groups, Consulting Companies and other great referrals.  

Now it wasn't just only repairs, but also Sales, Service, Maintenance and Installation. At the same time period, we also ventured into the Cold Room / Refrigeration market. Installed  many walk-in Freezer's and Fridge's. We also installed a walk-in freezer / fridge inside a large Container, for an Orphan home, which was a great success and still working great. Over the last number of years, Cool Tech cc also supports and gives back into our Society. Some services and repairs were done for free, for the benefit of some organisations, especially Children's homes,  Muscular Dysthrophy Foundation and some others. Laptop's were given away for the benefit of some Matric Students, so they were able to study properly and are without an excuse of not passing their matric.

In June 2009 the Company was handed over to new emerging Leadership within the Family and therefore to more exposure to a number of different ideas and requests. 

In March 2013, another family member joined the business and working together as a team, opened up new areas and directions with the leading of the company.

 

Over the past few years, we have spent a great deal of time and finances, having our staff and Leadership, going through more intense training, to become more compliant within Health and Safety as well as in the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning environment. 

 

In 2018, we proudly celebrating Twenty (20) years of Family business, through Valleys and over Mountain tops, in the Air Conditioning / Refrigeration environment and  therefore we giving all the Glory and thanks to the Lord our God.
